I do offer some virtual cheese education courses that run via Zoom, as interest and size of group allows. Topics that can be covered include: History of Cheese, Cheesemaking Science 101, Major Classifications and seasonal themes.
Each Zoom session includes samples of the thematic cheeses will be prepared and available for physically distanced pick-up the day of the class.
$75 per class
You will be provided with the cheese for two, tasting notes and a 2 hour class on the fundamentals for each style of cheese. During each class we will sample a total of 8-10 different cheeses; learn some aspects of cheesemaking; nuances between the different styles of cheese; build a larger sensory vocabulary & expand your palate.
Typical student: These classes are perfect for the cheese enthusiast, product development specialists (ie. jam companies), retailers, sommeliers, food service staff & especially cheese counter staff who want to become a “stronger monger”!
